Bike Chico! invites you to bike to school, work, shop and play... everyday!

Whether you are a beginner cyclist or a seasoned commuter, Bike Chico! events provide camaraderie, fun, and an opportunity to increase bicycle ridership. We would like to extend a huge thank-you to everyone who participated in Bike Month! Your support and encouragement is vital to the bicycle movement.

Why ride? The question should be "why not ride?" The benefits are huge!

• New bicycle commuters lose an average of 13 pounds during their first year of commuting
• Almost a pound of CO2 per mile not driven is saved from entering the atmosphere.
• Have you noticed the price of gas lately?
• Duh, it's a lot of fun to go by bike!

Even though Bike month is technically over, BikeChico.org will still be up and running to promote cycling throughout the city of Chico! Check out the new Bike Month recap page where you can view the participating schools, our support team, our posters & graphics, and more. Don't forget you can still pick up a BIke Chico shirt for only $10. See you on the road!
